Our camp serves root beer floats, remember? We bring a chest freezer and a chest refrigerator we converted from a freezer using a temperature control switch I posted about somewhere else here.

Curious how you're going to keep ice cream all week? Dry ice cooler?

OK, so I've finally decided what I'll be bringing to the M&G. First, either a gallon or a five quart tub of vanilla ice cream (depending on what's available at the Super Walmart or Sam's Club when we do our food shopping in Carson City and Reno) (this is to go with those fresh baked chocolate chip cookies someone is bringing) and Steak Fajitas with flour tortillas and shredded cheese and sour cream for toppings. I can put all of this in my bike panniers and transport it with no problem. Plus, this should be better for sharing too.

I camp with Inspiratum.. we also just got moved from 7:30 & G to 7:07 & G. Long story. Should be an interesting year though.

Lol.. long story like I said. Our placement was kinda/sorta/not really/but kinda taken away hastily and then regrettably by placement, so they are making amends and doing the best they can. This came straight from HepKitten while on playa this last weekend. The cool thing about this is that now we butt up against open camping, so we're able to grow and add more people and layout things a little differently than if we had set boundries. We're 80-100 people with a major lighthouse and shade installation, so room to grow is very welcome. It alllllll works out in the end, and placement staff gets major props from all of us for the great work they do!

PAH! this is the most ludicrous thing i have ever read on here, how can a pale substitute for the original beer by product even think its worthy of conparison, the only way you could even get someone to think it an equvilant is if you smeared it over your naked body!

Awesome. I learned from a friend, who showed up one year at my bd part with toilet paper and a roll of paper towels, that sometimes wine isn't the best choice for a host/ess gift.
