Good luck with that!
I guess what got me about that one is the idea that he has the choice and that somehow we all have extra tickets that we'd be honored to sell her, or at least that we are desperate to get off our hands.

It reminded me a little of what Pick Up Artists do in bars. They create a false time constraint, a la "Gotta get back to my friends real soon, but . . . " to put people at ease (i.e., "I'm leaving soon enough") but also as a way of creating both urgency, scarcity/making themselves seem in-demand.

or like that spam I got today saying I'd WON $1000 at Walmart, and then was given 112 seconds to fill in my essential information.

I keep getting the Wells Fargo automated spam calls, and I don't bank there. Tempted to give them false info so when they go hit the ATM (which is what they are doing according to the news reports), they'd get their false card yanked and their face on camera. Hmmmm.

Not just unicorns, but she's specifically looking for a gift ticket as well.

If this is the last minuet, is the universe ending? Or does it no longer like minuets?

I love how when the universe opens her arms to allow someone to go she never seems to give them a ticket to get in the Gate.

Methinks the universe is a wee bit fickle.

Yeah, I wonder about that one, too. I think we can say that the universe likes mind-fuck.

Considering how often we see that, yup, I'm sure you're right.

Thank you for reading the ticket threads for me.
