So I'm in the process of finishing up this year's art installation- many thanks to those who encouraged going to register at the Artery last year; it was simple, enjoyable, and rewarding! I actually applied for placement ahead of time this year, and got really sweet placement!
Now, to complete this piece, I need to include imagery of previous years on the playa. Ideally, they should be either open source, or otherwise with the blessing of the artist who photographed them. I don't want to step on any toes by displaying other people's art without permission! I can credit the photographer on the images if necessary. All I'm looking for are some good reference pictures to depict different years of playa past.
Any recommendations?

Not a whole lot, but a few cool random shots. Some of these are edited and lower res, if you care for any I can give you the original resolution. You can credit joshua from batmanschool, but I don't really mind if you dont. Just glad someone is looking at them.

I took this in 2009. Just used a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ4 on a tripod.

I always kind of like it when this one popped up during my various searches of Burning Man pictures. It seems to pop up whether I'm looking for rebar stakes or Burning Man swamp coolers.
