Sage Bundles? Contraband?

Post by kimchi_muffin » Wed Aug 24, 2011 2:16 pm

I made some really nice sage smear bundles for gifting this year. Are these going to get me in trouble at the gate? Should I risk it? Hide them? Leave them at home?

Hm. I would have thought they violate the prohibition on plant matter. That's some potentially tiny moop in ash or leaf form.

Smudge, I think, not smear. That's cream cheese.

I thought that was "schmear."

I guess it will depend on who searches your car whether they feel like making you toss them in the burn barrel right then.

Personally I hate the damn things, they aggravate my asthma to no end.

You and me both AntiM.

The only benefit to the death bundles, its pretty much probable cause for any LEO to search folks in the vicinity of anyone burning it. Think about it next time you burn your Indian match.

Why gift dead sticks when you can pot up live sagebrush and give those out? There's a ton of it along the Gate road. Better yet, start a fucking brush fire and smudge the whole fucking line of cars on their way in.

Will no one rid me of these turbulent hippies?

You mean incense draws the narks?

You might as well guard it as a druggie might guard his strash. ;)

Or burn your sage downwind from the LEO camp.

Or don't bring any drugs.

I got "smudged" a lot last year. Some people really hate the smell of it, but you won't have any problems if you bring it, In my opinion. Go on and cleanse the playa with your sage bundle.....
