There is so much to do. Which DJ's or performances are an absolute must see this year?
Come on people, let us know what's up!

That's like asking which beer is best. Ask 100 people, get 100 different answers. Totally up to your EDM style preference.
Personally, I'm a deep/progressive house fan. Desyn Masiello is amaaaaazing.. I'm attempting to catch every set of his. Seth Troxler et al. Wednesday night Robot Heart will be killer as will be other locales..

I like flowery down to earth yet alien melodic tribal grooves of Random Rab in the morning. I really enjoy EOTO's live drumming duals, and David Starfire's worldly mix. Opiuo from Australia, this is his second burn and he's pretty creative. I saw him after BMan last year (I missed the burn itself) and he had some uniqueness. I am sure he will go ape shit this year. Beats Antique is a must see if you never have before. The incorporate some live instruments into their trendy tribal burner mid tempo sexy grooves. Fandango on the 4:00 Esplanade has Mash ups on Thursday which is a true Burning Man experience.
Warning: Dont get sucked in the whole week! Its easy to be absorbed by the music but I would say a Must See would be random brass bands in the suburbs!! March Fourth and Albino arent going this year but there are so many hidden talents in the backstreets that arent on the Rockstar Map. Try cruising the spokes and Center Camp at night. Its not as loud and crazy as the Boom camps but it has its own special charm every first timer IMO should know

Beats Antique is always good indeed. Myself I would absolutely like to see Infected Mushroom, Andy C and Freq Nasty. But there are so many DJ's and performances I don't know so it's basically a gamble without some extra inside information.

Fastly here from Ooligan Alley. The entire line-up is looking sick, but here are some of my picks:
Tuesday day / evening: catch Cheyenne (detroit techno), Disco Stu (retro / funk), Roll Players (breaks), Hamish vs Sentient (techno), Davi, Krankbrother...
Wednesday night (techno house funk): Desyn Masiello, Disco Stu, Thugfucker, Wolf + Lamb vs Soul Clap and James What (live) will rock it!
If you're into psy / progressive trance, DON'T MISS Avalon (live), Tristan (live), Killerwatts (Avalon + Tristan), Hamish (Furthur Progressions) and Fede on Thursday night...
For dubstep / glitch / breaks, Friday will be HUGE! Freq Nasty, Mochipet, Ill.Gates...
Oh, and I'll be mixing electro house / techno / prog trance at 2pm on Tuesday (with Fede), 6:30pm Thursday! Come along.
2 and Coming Out!

J Phlip
Justin Martin
Christian Martin
Donald Glaude
Treavor Moontribe
Mr. C (formerly of the Shamen) *

Heyoka should be on that list on the glitch list other than that your list is top notch
Re: Which DJ's or performances are absolute must see?
I'm pretty deep into the psy, so I'm pumped for Infected. Thanks Fastly for the heads up on Avalon and Tristan. Any other psy/prog action going on?
Others on my must see list:
Magda
Treavor Moontribe
Mochipet
JELO
Scumfrog
An-ten-nae
Minnesota
And can't miss the Old School Rave Thursday night!

Desyn Masiello absolutely needs a * if you are any kind of progressive house/house lover!!! Are you kidding me?
Awesome list though.. for reels, kid.

Re: Which DJ's or performances are absolute must see?
Yano I haven't seen Desyn play live yet... only heard mixes and the word of a bunch of people round the way... I guess this year will be full of some super duper fun time musical exploration for us all
Re: Which DJ's or performances are absolute must see?
Can anyone who is familiar with more of the artists list some electro ones (I'm thinking similar to Boys Noize or Jack Beats..). I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, all

Re: Which DJ's or performances are absolute must see?
I'm a big fan of Splatinum if you like glitchy/whompy stuff. Their 6am sunrise set at Temple of Boom on Thursday morning (Wednesday night) should be cool. It is also supposed to start 15 minutes after Infected Mushroom ends next door.
