That seems to be a common practice of late, I can think of three off the top of my head that do it at every turn.
That's the quickest way to get me not to look.
One blatent offender is Kit Kat or whoever the fuck it is that writes that stiff, pompous, pretentious lexicon because every other post directs you to his blog, coupled with his not participating in (and probably not reading) any other thread = plonk.
It's no better than people pushing products regardless of whether commerce is involved, IMO.
I like the other two too much to not overlook the blatent self-promotion, I still won't click but I do think less of them for it.
I dont come here expecting to see plugs like it's some lame talk show.
