Huge shout-out to BMIR!

BMIR rocks for many reasons I'll list one...

Two-hours into a six-hour exodus on Monday BMIR announced someone who needed a ride and put a guy on the mike. Before they did so BMIR mentioned it cuts both ways. The guy said he showed to pick her up where she said she was going to be, alas no trace of her. After his plea BMIR passionately added to the effect 'if your hooking up for a ride be where you say you are going to be instead of looking for burning man souvenirs on the Playa. I had several connections with this BMIR statement in my last 12-hours of BM.... I was her original ride!!!!!!

Hear ya man, had the same issue!! Left notes at the camp for the person, went out of my way to hook-up... nada. No responsibility or initiative taken by the rider. I'll forego the nasty email messages from the schmuck :shock:
