Shame on Distrikt - that red and white "Nitro Circus" truck you had parked prominently at your camp all week was an MTV show production truck? Really? WTF was that about?

CORRECTION -

These were new/virgin burners who arrived mid-week. They were a larger crew of whom 2 were show members. There was no commercial filming or use of DISTRIKT for any purpose of Nitro Circus or MTV nor will there be. They simply used the trailer. While flashy, again, we do welcome every color & creed at BRC & DISTRIKT.

I'm calling bullshit on that. If an art car or any other campers had "accidentally" parked their vehicle in such a prominent place that could have easily been used to accommodate more art cars rolling up to Distrikt, someone would have suggested they move the vehicle in a very short period of time. In fact, there were vehicles that were moved throughout the week. To leave the one vehicle that's covered in the production company logos in such a prominent spot (when less prominent spots were still available) goes beyond suspicious. Even if not one single still picture or frame of film was shot, that is incredibly vulgar product/brand placement.



Don't get me wrong, outside of the giant commercial production company logo, Distrikt was an excellent addition to the neighborhood and a responsible camp.

calm down Trilobyte.... none if us liked seeing this truck there but it is what it is. They didn't film or do anything. Yes the branding / placement was wrong. We didn't approve of it.
