Who was responsible for the Shark / Whale / Round Orb Kites?

Hi! We are so happy that you enjoyed them! That is the work of Phillip McConnachie, an amazing kites designer who joined us (DOTA) from Australia this year. I thought that was so cute and fitting when he flew them by the pier!

Thanks for those DOTA! We could see them from our camp all week. There's no good morning like a flying shark/whale!

One of my favorite moments all week was when they brought the kites out the Regatta at the Pier Wed night and the Gypsy Queen set out their huge fishing net to catch them.
