White Butterfly at the Temple

I was walking around on the second level of the center spire when I saw a white butterfly flying around. A couple people saw it before it flew away. It was absolutely too perfect. Surely somebody let it go there? Did anybody else see it?

Stuff, including insects and rodents, blow across the playa. Coyotes walk cross the playa. Some arthropods live on the playa.

Like CAMEL SPIDERS.

We saw a litle field mouse trapped in one of the light boxes at the temple. Actually we saw alot of bugs this year.In the begining of the week there were all sorts of flies around any light source.

Last year we did not see one bug or rodent.

Those camel spiders are no joke... and they seem to prefer to come up through the plumbing of RV's. I think BMIR gets pressured to not report about all the camel spider incidents...

There did seem to be a much higher amount if bugs on the playa this year. We had a couple of wasps fly in the truck and some gnats gathering at evening time.

A couple evenings while erecting the Temple we were swarmed by bugs. One evening I picked ten of them off me before heading to bed.

We saw the white butterfly at the temple too! And yes, lots of bugs were around. Giant ants were a problem in our camp.
