I would be careful to read the fat content on it.. Also it is not filling so you have to be care ful or you will feel very hungry and over eat..

Eplaya Fitness Club is open 24/7!

It seems I did lose some wieght over the winter afterall...the top button on my best pants now button up. :)

Last weekend at a regional party, I did see the 20 something guys wearing pants that would NEVER button up, but uh, not my style, heh heh...who knew??! This is now in style? Hmmm and arg!
Maybe I could've eaten cake all winter :?

Seems simple diet changes and walks here n there did the trick for me.

20 pounds lighter, the second 20 are within range...

cool beans moonrise :D

i had my measurements checked at the boot camp fitness and I've lost 25 1/2 inches and 10 lbs since I started. I think I've now gotten over the hump of dreading going to my workout. 5 days a week and I actually looked forward to it. In fact I get kind of bummed at the thought of missing a day. Which is weird for me, but I have gone 3 weeks straight without missing a day and am determined to stay dedicated for this 6 week session...

I have gotten back into going to the gym, although it takes up a chunk of my morning. Three times a week is the plan, and this week looks promising. The time of the class and the bus ride screw up my day, and I'm wiped out when I get back, but it feels wonderful. Yesterday I was able to touch my toes up to the side of the pool when doing the thigh workouts.

I just am not seeing the scale budge, just waver now and then. Still, my BP is down, so I'll take that for now.

I think that what you are seeing is your muscles "bulk up" as the fat comes off. During this period you should see some improvement in you're figure. That doesn't mean that you are going to turn into the equivalent of a muscle bound "blond bombshell". Rather it means that you will start to feel better, health issues, like BP, will improve, a "spare tire" will start to melt away, and muscles that were soft and flabby will tone up and bulk up and not hang loosely off your bones.

I think what we eat is more than half the battle. There's so much tempting crap (goodies) out there in the USA...

Seems a 'fuck your day' is in order eh M? Riding the bus is enough exercise alone at times, geeeez (ouch!!)
Just kidding, good for you AntiM, get back into the gym! maybe there's a lap top holder in the pool and on the gym machines, just think,,,you can moderate from there

I'll start my walks after the snow melts, hopefully in a day or so :P

I've been off of Tomato for weeks now, I think I feel a difference (drats, I miss ketchup sooo much!) I'll have to try that banana ketchup Ugly D mentioned, I'm losin' it, I might crack any day now...

Sounds like you are doing great, AntiM! Keep it up!

I have not been on a scale in a while, but I keep tightening my belt to a new notch, so I think I am back on schedule. And I start most days with exercises, something I have never done before. Feel good; helps wake me up.

No one has posted since June? What slackers we are.

I was suck in early July, then I had the infection and was in the hospital, and now we're having a lot of red air days (high ozone), which means I can't get out to the gym by bus.

But I went today! The water felt great.

In 2009, I scored a couple cases of it and used it as a backup food resource in-country. I prefer Muscle Milk if I have my druthers.

Does anyone in this fitness club have fabulous abs? Curious if any burners have any tips for getting them washboard-esque. :D

I don't know about fabulous abs but a simple trick I was taught as a young girl...Stand or sit up straight and suck in your belly all day every day. good for the Abs and your spine

I'd like to join the club if I may..I'm a relative fitness newb, Not overweight..Quite underweight actually. But 10 years of a half a pack a day cancer stick addiction, and general laziness has diminished my health quite a bit. But I have started anew, been smoke free for a month, and started to get into a routine. Any tips would be appreciated, especially on how to help my lungs to recover

If you do cardio, Ataki, you'll be coughing up the most "refreshing" parts of those cigs for a week or two.
But do work to get that "runner's high", it's the best alternative to that bad stuff. ;)

Hey Tiahaar! Good to hear from you. Yes, I had to skip this year. Hopefully back next year.

Can you help Joy_Rider with exercise tips for his abs? (A few posts above.)

Now I have a question: Ugly Dougly mentioned "runners high". I have experienced that ONE time in my life, and that was bicycling. (If it had not been for that one time, I would not have known what it was.)
Can anybody enlighten me on how that works?

And welcome aboard, Ataki! Wonderful to hear that you have managed to quit smoking! I've never smoked, but I know it is a powerful addiction. Stick around!

Thanks! It was a challenge, for sure. I already feel a world better, If I can just get my body and lungs in shape, I'll be like a whole new person.

I gained 7.5 pounds on the playa this year!   :!:

Oh well, back on the diet! At a pound a week, I should be back to my goal maintenance weight in no time.

Thanks Jella! I do heavy manual labor all day, so I try to focus on my abs (while bending and lifting)... but not consistently.
