Here's a solution:

NEXT year, someone be sure to give that same first, wonderful ingredient into the bottom of my first drink (you know who you are. PM me. Really! I need the recipe), then point my over-exuberant, shin-kicking, uber-verbose ass out to keep the masses at bay.

I can DO it!!! You know I can!!

Were I even remotely aware of the situation, I'd have been all over it. (Not-so-Un)fortunately I saw no further than whomever's face was directly in front of mine at the time.

Delle you could probably prevent any entries by having people test their strength and stamina via your crochet nipples
Those came out awesome!

Hmm, I showed up about an hour late and had a blast. I wasn't looking to eat anything though, just meet people. Loved that plum brandy that Misa had and the absinthe shots doc was making the rounds with. I left a couple of bottles of my stout and some sambouca on the table but forgot to serve it. Hope someone drank it! :D I shot some photos but maybe best not to post those, haha.

I like it. Picking the most petite person in the bunch to be a bouncer seems to fit so well on the playa.

I was unsure what to expect, but when we arrived shortly after 6 I was a bit put off by the sardine can atmosphere and couldn't even get close enough to notice the name tags (thanks JK, these were both helpful to us newbies and a great keepsake). I figured it would eventually thin out so we went with the flow and chilled on the edge with an excellent game of fizzball for entertainment. Once the crowd thinned out a bit I was able to meet many of you (although there were a few I missed somehow) and the more intimate atmosphere later in the evening was some of the best times I had all week.

While much of the food and other goodies folks brought sounded interesting, my nearly complete lack of appetite all week precluded any dissappointment on my part (all I ate that entire day was one of Minxy's cookies).
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Food? I hardly noticed it at all. I was too busy meeting all you wonderful eplayans! (Though I did have quite the memorable midnight snack...)
Speaking of shin kicking, Delle was an atomic fireball of playful energy doing her hopping gentle shinkick dance. What a girl!
And yeah, Ygmir stole the show with his dapper attire. What a gentleman. I greatly enjoyed your pleasant demeanor, sir!
Elorrum's techincal prowess was clearly evidenced by her clever transmutation of common LED squeezelights into RGB lightcyclers.
Triken was such a sweetie that she made my jawbone ring. Your story about your son brought tears to my eyes, dear. Many tears.
JK should get an award for his selfless work in making the nametags (though the word nametag is entirely inadequate for them...).
Savannah, you are such an adorable specimen of humanity. The pendant you made for Sweetpea stunned me and made her cry. Thank you from the bottom of both of our truly grateful hearts.
Knowmad and I had a great time talking about his science background, his navy days as a sonar tech in the submarine service, his wife and son in Germany, and other mutual interests.
MelanieJane & Graidawg cracked me the hell up with their 'mite fueled madness.
TamaraKay and Ken fufilled their promise and brought me a stack of callgirl cards from the Las Vegas strip. Thanks you two! (We collect them...)
MyDearestFriend truly lived up to her name. What a woman! She showered me with gifties and compliments that I didn't deserve. Thanks so much, hunny!

If you don't see your name here it is only because I've not yet come up with words adequate to summarize our meeting and greeting. You know who you are and how much I love you. :D

Thanks, but the real test of strength and stamina would have been to actually follow my order and "Blow Me". If anyone managed to get any air into that damned inner tube I was wearing, I'd think they would have deserved entrance.

Surprising how after all that time working on those nipples, it was my penis (acquired on my way to the event) that gave me the most pleasure.

I say that, but there WAS that one guy who surprised us both by skillfully cupping my right boob (the less deflated of the two) rather than tweeking the nipple as requested. Apparently he hadn't even noticed the nipple, and was just as astonished by my request as I was by his response!

Yeah. I usually read through the event list in the morning with my cigarette while breakfast is cooking. I saw it on there when I browsed through it Thursday morning and knew it was going to be packed. But it's okay, sounds like everyone had a great time. I'll meet everyone next year. It was nice to meet Anti-M. I saw her bumper sticker said "Anti-M" and I remembered the username from here when I made the food list, asked if she posted her, and sure enough it was.

Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night, nor the winds of change, nor a pack of disorderly ravers and their ecstasy, will stay him from the swift completion of his appointed rounds.

Sorry I missed you too! But I'm glad you liked the name tag. I'll be doing them again for next year.

I think I'm going to try and set up a little cocktail hour next year too--just an announced time that I will be at my camp and will be serving Lychee Martini's, assorted cheeses and fruit and an assortment of olives to munch on. Might be easier to connect that way. At least it will help alleviate the guilty feeling i get when I'm not at camp when people stop by unannounced and I'm not there to say hello.

Yes JK, thank you for the beautiful nametags! Somehow you made TWO tags for me, each with a different avatar photo (my army pic and my fur coat pic). They are two of my most prized gifts from the desert :).
