Playa Pool Party Anyone?

Post by nostratomas » Tue Aug 17, 2004 11:24 am

Transcendent FunKtions has access to a killer 3500 gallon pool for cheap (I think it's 20' in diameter - can email pix). Last year we had a couple of pool parties that Hugh Hefner would be proud of. It uses a chlorine-free, all natural filtration system. A burner friend of ours, not coming this year, will rent it to our camp for $500 plus a $700 deposit.

This can be paypal'd on a credit card(s). The deposit could be returned before you get the bill. We need some more financial support to make it happen.

We have an amazing camp planned this year located at 9:30 & Mercury. Multiple bomb DJ's spinning, a bunch of real disco lights, giant shade structure, fully sealable kitchen, living room & dining area (seating for 15), world class chefs, multiple massueses (sp?), and hopefully great oral sex. A Black Light RV Lounge. Did I mention the new & improved Flying Carpet?

Come on in the water feels great, Our bar never closes, please don't piss in the pool, and come have a Playa-riffic Burn with us.

I'm unfortunately quite broke, so I can't really do the donation thing, but I'll definitely try and swing by. The magic carpet gave me a ride last year, and it seemed to be piloted by rather cool folks (if it's the same magic carpet anyway).

I read in another post somewhere that you are in need of help loading and unloading in San Jose and BRC. I am in the Stockton area but would be glad to give you a hand loading. I unfortunately am not able to travel to BRC until Monday afternoon but currently am traveling alone with a 32' toy hauler and no camp affiliation this year. If I can be of some help let me know, otherwise hopefully I will be able to join your group for a beverage on the Playa.
Time is precious, waste it wisely.

Great!! (spoken loudly with an obnoxious Scootish accent),

We could use your help & spirit. Give me a ring & we can discuss it further. The more the merrier, as it goes. Are you able to contribute towards the Pool Party fund?

Hi. We're right next door. (also 9:30 and Mercury).
Out of curiousity, what hours will your DJs be spinning? I'd like to forward the news to the other surlydrunkenbastards.

Hey Rian,

Don't know what the spin times are. Last year they just kept spinning. But we'll be hanging out over at 'Hi' too. I missed Stuart entirely last year, so now we have no excuses as we are Playa neighbors for this burn.
Looking forward to checking out your video rig in action. I've also heard some of the DJs offering their services at your place. Some real talent in that bunch. And let me tell you something brother, this mofo is ready to do some dancing.

Come on by we'll get lite like a nuclear x-mas tree. We might be bringing a tank of you know what.
