Fancy poultry parts sold here
Breasts and thighs and hearts
Backs are cheap and wings are nearly free
Nearly free, nearly free, nearly free, ...

God, that still chokes me up after 20 years.

the Donmar Wherehouse version of the Threepenny Opera. It's better than the 50s Broadway version, but not a patch on the out of print 1970s New York Shakespere Company with Raul Julia as MacHeath.

Can't work the youTube thing.

this song brings me to my knees. It's so profound in my life right now.

Rediscovering Moondog.

Just hit the Youtube button and paste it in, as long as it says "youtube" not "youtu.be" or something. :)

(and don't include playlist, grrr..)

I tried that Doug. I copied and pasted the url and put the youtube brackets around it and it didn't work.

I find that I have to leave out the part of the url after the "&".

i.e., just:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAc83CF8Ejk

between the brackets, gives me your video:

Yes, they are in Trutnov every year...I've seen them twice...when the leader took this other guy on his shoulders and they both started to hit the drums and the leader was still able to dance - unbelievable...

I have a huge playlist of Tom Waits set up, spanning from 1974, until his new album last Friday, and I'm workin' my way all the way through it.

Right now: Singapore by Tom Waits.
