Am I the only person whose PMs take 2-4 days to leave the out box and actually get sent? It is kind of driving me batty....

Just sayin...

PMs leave your outbox only when they are read by the recipient. They move to "sent" at that point.

PM's (usually) stay in your outbox until the recipient opens them. I've only had one case where someone opened one of my PM's (and responded) while it still sat in my Outbox.

Your recipient may not be online or may just not be choosing to open it.

If I'm not mistaken it gets marked as read when the Inbox is viewed, not when the individual message is opened.
You can't necessarily assume an individual message is read just because it moves from the Outbox to Sent, FWIW.

If you want to demonstrate this the next time you have PMs go to your Inbox and you will see the "# New Messages" change without even opening one.

I'm all about useless info.
