I had only been playing for about 6 months prior to BM, but for various reasons I ended up with a ton of cards. My camp was geek-top-heavy, so I brought a bunch of cards and people were very pleasntly surprised. The wind wasnt so bad because we played behind a tarp in a covered area.

I was thinking about bringing my cards and seeing if others would be interested...something fun to do in the hot afternoon. Anyone have any interest in this?

bringing a lot of cards. Nothing better than to reintroduce all the older people who left it many years ago to the game. I had a blast doing this last year, and its a lot of fun in the middle of the hot afternoon. Wheres yer camp gonna be?

I'd be interested. I dig this game ... plus, I kick ass at it.

Are you talking about unopened packs, or just random cards? Right now I have an entire box of Fifth Dawn yet to be cracked. Also, would you want to draft... or do you play with pre-constructed decks???

As for what camp I'm at.... uh, that remains to be seen, due to sudden change in circumstances. But I should know within the next week or so...

Hey Man, I'm one of those "Old Dudes" that grew up on D&D (when it still used dice) and have always wanted to watch/play MtG. Afraid I would be tagged as a "pervert" if I hung out at local teeni-scene! Now BRC is the perfect place for different generations to interact, and Magic the Gathering the perfect grease. Post your location here, or on Playa message board, and I'm sure a lot of people would stop by check it out! Maybe get multigames going: Beginner (with a coach.) Intermediate, and Veritable Gods! I'd love to check out a game and if possible join, promise I wont ask inane questions or get bored after 5 minutes when you've invested an hour in teaching me the basics, I swear! Sounds like a great way to spend the high Sun hours, let the games begin!

If you wish to bring unopened packs, thats fine. I dont really care much for draft. I will be bringing about 20-25 precontructed decks I have built and a bunch of card for people to build their own.

If you have any decks youd like to bring, feel free. Type 2, Type 1, it doesnt matter, its all in good fun.

I will be with Kamp Krotus at 9:30 and the Espalade. I'll post the exactl location and the timing too...maybe tuesday or wednesday. Or, what could be very fun, I could bring the decks to center camp and play there.

If you have any decks, please feel free to bring them. Just for fun. I will have a lot of decks for people who don't have any and would love to play. We will be in the IGS village at 8:00 and the Esplanade playing on Tuesday afternoon, and maybe other afternoons as well. It gets addictive. Come by around 1:pm.

If it goes well we can play other days or nights of the week.

I will have about 20 decks of all types for anyone who wants to play, but if you want to scrounge together a few decks, by all means do so. Anything is allowed. Type 1, 2, whatever.

Just remember that in a multiplayer game the length of time a person stays alive is inversely proportional to the evilness of his/her deck.
