Most definitely!!!

I just flew this by Ken who immediately pointed out that the Ken's have no hair from which to hang. Ball's neither. Any suggestions would be welcome!

Hm. Poke hole in head and hang from a string. Cover head with hair, most especially the "hair". (yarn, more string, cat fur...)

Ok, now that deserves its OWN costume. Just word-play pieces.

The necklace might be more of a barbiebarian sort of a gettup -- for Ken!

The "tool" belt option seems perfect for a headhunter, to me.

My tutu ended up on my head as a halo/sunhat for most of tuesday.

That'd be just freaky!

(hang them by their hair with splayed legs and claim I have "split ends"?????)

3-D fabric paint in glitter or crystal to glam up the bodies. Works wonderfully well on plastic.

I got our kitchen box emptied, contents sorted and cleaned, and refilled. Taped an inventory list on the inside of the lid, now we just have to store it until next trip. One less thing next summer (unless we totally screw it up at the regional).

Decided I'm going next year....come hell, high water or homelessness (not really on that last one but you know what I mean)

Also bought fabric to make Tron coat 2.0 over the weekend at Joann's huge sale over the weekend.

OH I also found some alter-egos costumes ideas to make (Raggedy Ann & Goth Raggedy Ann). One is for day time and the other for evening. Now I can start going to Goodwill again (YAY!)

MDF feel free to take the idea...although I think Delle may also be making some matching accessories

isn't there a kind of paint you float on the top of a dish or bucket of water? that you dip into and it makes wild swirly designs. seems to be the thing I watched being pitched at county fairs. "anything, anything, can be made into art!"

YAAAAAAAAAAY!! I knew you would do it..

If you need any kind of help, just let me know. You know that I'll have a huge 16' box truck headed out from Reno with plenty of cargo space available to take whatever you need out there. I'll be camped on the 3 o'clock side as well..

How do you know you will be on that side? That's a big change from your location this year. But would be ultra convenient as my camp would prob aim for the same location (around 5 o'clock)

..because I know who I'm camping with next year and they are part of the BDV area which is always on the 3 side..

Looking forward to mixing it up. As much as I love the camp that I've been with for a while now, it's time to stir the pot.

That stuff was called Magic Dip. Basically you added some borax powder to the water then floated oil base paint atop it. I'm not sure they still make it but it is similar to other marbelizing techniques.

There is a video that shows the process which is pretty cool

That's great. I had much better interactions and experiences on that side of the playa than I did anywhere >7 o'clock :D

Ditto!! The action this year was waaaaaay skewed over to the 3 side of things. It was pretty weird. The whole 9 side was kind of dark and I dunno.. just.. not happening like the other side was.

I've seen tutorials done for nails. Didn't think to transcribe it to all materials. If the paint is durable that would look great on the bodies.
