I just finished a review of the People of Burning Man -- a new coffee table book of portraits of Burners by Julian Cash, a.k.a. Supersnail. This book is gorgeous and is a great example of successful Burner Kickstarter fundraising, but you can check out my whole review here:

Has anyone else checked this out? What do you think?

I like it, Kit. I put it in my "Random Best of..." thread.

I bumped into Julian at Empire Store and got his book. It's great, especially if you are a sucker for the well-utilized wide-angle. The images are intimate, the graphic design is cool, the tone unabashedly optimistic and inclusive. Crisp, bright, smiley. Thank you Julian Cash!
While we're at it, gotta give major props to another book, just out, that may be of interest to burners: "The Book of IS: Fail... to WIN!" by Chicken John Rinaldi. Awesome essays, cultural observations, con-man hustles, and windmill tilting. Inspirational.
