Someone was asking about this in another thread. There might be threads in the old Eplaya, but not the current. Would be curious is anyone who has been pregnant on the playa, would be willing to share their experience and tips.

Not much on that thread. Just says if you are 4 months preg. you should be ok.

In 1997, I was way dang pregnant on the playa. Hot as hell and did a lot of lounging. Riding a bike was probably amusing to watch! I loved the attention and it was a wonderful, yet not entirely comfortable experience. Just so you don't think I'm exaggerating, I left on Saturday because I was feeling the twinges (and Baby was due on Aug. 26). On Sunday, I went to the rib cookoff (in labor), a baseball game (in labor) and gave birth at 5:16 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 1, 1997.

She also attended in 1998 because I was still nursing. Although she doesn't remember it, she loves that she is the only one of my children who has been to Burning Man.

Wow... you were at Burning Man when you were 9 months pregnant and you were in labor for 2 days?

Impressive.

Just twinges, not real labor until Sunday. Things got more intense after the baseball game.

Wow, Miss Nev, what an amazing story. I think I saw a couple of posts indicating that you were pregnant at BM from the old Eplaya. Didn't realize it was that close to the end!

Did you sleep in a tent or trailer when preggers, and when you brought the baby?

Someone sent me a private email saying that there is an email list or something called playapreg. However, I've been unable to locate it. Can someone tell me where to look?
