Thanks. I like to think so. So...is this Digi-man? Cause you'd have to be someone from the SF party if you're a burner who met John, since it's the only BM event I've ever brought him to.

I only have 5 socks and it's too long of a story of how they came about. Especially for this thread.

I will tell you this much.....They (the multiple socks.) mostly came about due to the limited few that are mostly not on this board anymore that could'nt take what they dished out. I was told to cool out for a bit, so I came up with the socks as a solution....which worked.

I crush Hagemon. Never met the man, but anybody who turns over their house, and basically their whole freakin' life for the month of August, to unknown burners from god know where is, well... crushable. You gonna argue?

Hageymon's an awesome guy in person as well. You should go find his theme camp (Black Rock Burner Hostel) and let him know you appreciate what he's doing. He always looks so damn happy when someone stops to tell him 'thanks'...

Rian. Once again. It's 'cause the little brat cares sooooo much, and all she really wants is for the rest of us to get along. That, and the fact that she's a fiesty little shit.

These are non-eplaya crushes...

I'm still crushing all the friends I camped with at Shambhala. I love them. We had such a great time, lots of sharing and fun, and drama-free. My honey and I are doing a recon mission to BM this year and hopefully we'll have a crew of our friends to bring next year.

I'm crushing my friend who's having Burning Spear play at a party at his house just a couple days after we get back from BM. What a fabulous way to return home.

I'm also crushing my big diesel truck. I can't wait to drive it on this trip. And it's so easy to pack, just toss everything into its huuuge canopy.

I'm crushing my boyfriend. Me: "I'm thinking about going to BM this year, babe." Him:"Oh yeah??" A week later...Me:"I bought us tickets." "Okay. What is it?" He's the best adventure partner!

I crush you all...that's what you get for letting me be on top.

Seriously Folks..

extra special crushes to TheCrypofishist...for always giving sound advice and remaining calm in the face of flaming trolls

and to Sparkletarte..for her wide eyed excitement, I wish I could just watch her all week on the playa, and I don't mean that in a stalker kind of way

and to FAT Sam because whenever I see that he has posted I just have to read what he says, and also I want to do his avatar. Well not DO just snuggle with.

that is all..now get back to work...all of you!!!
I am a bit tied up at the moment...but if you leave your name and number.....

I crush Rian for being a solid (NOT wishy-washy!) voice of reason and support (on the Check This Out!/Corporate Logo thread), even when she's feeling shitty.

Stuart, so many times over, because he was always gracious when i dropped by or through their camp, because he's entertaining, because he'll try new things even when he thinks it's a bad idea and then come back for more, because he's not afraid of AIR FLO. and he has good choice in friends.

Lydia, for being beautiful and genuine, and for the promise of many future escapades. (woodinville, shall we?)

Technopatra and Tiara, for making bitching on a boat something beautiful.

The captain, because, as we all now now, he's too sweet for words.

Sparkletarte, for bringing a little sparkle and a dash of tarte into evenings at Camp Hi.

dougaldutch, for endless enthusiasm.

and stuart again. he's just so damn smart and crushable.

The Rebbi for being an absolute love and paying some attention to my poor abused feet. And the Captain for stopping the boat and serving drinks while this happened.

Rian for being a fucking force of nature. She's something like a cross between a lightning bolt and a kitten. And then some. I'm impressed and delighted

Technopatra, I'm so glad I finally got to meet you. Your stories about pranks accomplished really cracked me up.

Every single one of my camp mates. I wish I could live with y'all year round. Why the fuck do you all have to live so far away??

More will surely follow as my head clears from the week of excess. Just know that every one of you I got to meet was given a little space in my heart.

Aw, I'm crushing you all! That's right! All of you! You're all so fabulous and lovely. I had much fun at the meet and flog.

Silkentofu, so did you end up following me around or what?! Because yes, I was wide eyed with excitement, it tends to be a fairly common way for me to be regardless, but more so at BRC. I loved it.

Karma, for bailing out all us clueless newbies.

Gabriel and Redwood, and the anonymous two, for the lovely lovely lapdances post-Critical Tits.

CloneBoy. He knows why.

Lydia Love, unless those goddamm photos she just had to take of the Playa Cruiser getting overloaded and blowing a tire surface. (It did look awful funny to be jacking up a boat to change a tire...)

Trollop (her identity will remain anonymous but her initials are Rian Jackson) because she... well just because.

Technopatra because she's just instantly comfortable to be around.
She's also much prettier than I expected. I might almost consider behaving better on her message board from now on... but then she wouldn't like me anymore, so forget that.

*sigh*

As much as it saddens me to lose your admiration darlin I *will* be posting those pictures.

As soon as I fucking find the camera again.

And manage to get the film developed.

So in the meantime I will warm myself in the glow of this Crush, knowing it to be a transitory thing soon to dissapate as dust does upon the wind.

Ya looked dead sexy in those coveralls by the way.
