Since I am new to MnG, help me here... how long does it take for everyone to eat and drink all that food/booze?

Honestly, since it doesn't all arive at exactly the same time, or be set out and 'ready to serve' at the same time it is a bit slower. Last year there were some issues with non eplayans smelling the food, wondering in, and helping them selves. I was late for this part of it, but I have heard the horror stories.

We hope to have that snafu covered in 2012. Hopefully we will have enough food and drink to last several hours. Admittedly the food goes much faster than the drinks (there is clearly less of it), but I would think that the bar would remain open until the last soldier remains standing. If you're there by, oh, say 6:15 you should be in fine shape.

So, would the general consensus be that more food is needed? Or .... no? Or just more iceDr. Pyro wrote:We hope to have that snafu covered in 2012. I know it's cliche, but more of everything is good. We should be OK on ice (BDC&WB will donate six bags), but more food and more liquor (absinthe and beer are many eplayans favorites) are always on demand.

More food. It is hard for some people to prepare enough food to share on the playa because of logistics; so those that are able, should bring as much as they can. IMHO.DanusLight wrote:

I feel confident that the good Doc will have a much better handle on things this year.
