OneeyedDick and the Frenchie Boy Burn

Post by Foxfur » Sat Oct 22, 2011 8:39 am

OED is simply amazing! He and Leggs, TITWI, Piney, and others organized the Moonrocks - Frenchie Boy Burn that went off last weekend. So many of my favorite eplayans and Reno peeps were there. Minxy & Will, Martini Steve, Frosty, El Keith, Bobnoxious, Nefarious Grin & Ali En, Matty Pockets, Killbuck & Nilasnake, Bernie Beauchamp, Dammit Bill, Cat Apult, Wheelgunner, and more...
We burned 5 couches, actually Bobnoxious did, I was able to bring a dozen guns, Neffie built a burning temple made out of steel that had three levels to burn wood in (worked great to roast Spam with), we burned a 20 foot tall effigy that was rigged withh steel cables to dance like a huge puppet (Dick, Pockets, Bernie, and others built that mastrpiece), I got to load a bunch of fireworks in the man (Matty named me "Sagebrush FX"), Dick DJ'd Fri & Sat, I finally got to experience Dick's Chicken and his yummy Dicksauce, and a whole bunch of other cool shit.

Dick & Leggs got me to extend my visit and stay with them at Casa De Dick by tempting me with chinese and greek food. YUM!
I went to lunch with Babyburner & Gadget (Black Rock Pizza in reno) on Sunday. Gadget made a beautiful figurine for me! A cute lil fox with my orange vest and camo shorts! She is such a sweetie :D

I camped on the playa on the way down. I camped on the site of Terminal City. There was no trace of any roads left! I had the GPS coordinates and that's the only way it was possible to find it.
I took two days getting home and camped outside of Alturas and Crater Lake. I love my trailer!

Thanks again to everyone involved in getting it all put together.

That was some serious fun! The four wheeling looked fun, too. I wanna bring a quad up there!

Very cool!

By sheer coincidence you showed up linked to my freind circle on FB, just this morning with my coffee. Thanks for the photos, for those of us who cannot make the trip, almost felt like I was there.

There were No couches burned, there were NO fireworks involved, and I have NO idea who FireFox is or what he is talking about.

we're very lucky to have a great bunch of friends in close proximity that can continue burny activities year round. and visits from the out of town friends make it even more fun.

 You guys are so lucky indeed, getting to do awesome burner shit year round like that. We never get to do that here in SE Michigan.

Well, except for the Lakes of Fire leads retreat after the burn, swilling beer, cooking bacon (including some more of the wild boar bacon I had at the MnG, and a nice hot fire............but no fireworks or guns. Though, there was this one fire poofer.....

Oh, and Theatre Bizarre last Saturday with 3000 of my costumed friends....

But thats all! Nothing else to do. Well, until Santarchy
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

Okay, so I'll stipulate that Killbuck has all the good stuff and cut a day off my trip.
