Fuck, rolled my ankle on the way to the gym, fell hard in the street. Really did a number on my knee. I couldn't get up, I had no leverage, left ankle wouldn't hold me, knee wouldn't straighten out, my hands hurt like hell. Well dressed business people on their phones ignored me and walked on by. Fuckers, they'll need a hand some day. A very nice man stopped his car in the road and hopped out to get me on my feet.
I went into the gym to check my knee (and cry a bit in the locker room). Hobbled back to the bus stop, and limped home. Lunch, some ginger capsules and a Lortab, and ice packs, plus a whiny call to MyLarry and here I am, fucking buzzed posting.

Fuck, and I have a fucking root canal tomorrow. Whine, whine, whine.

I've seen, when an obviously drunk person, falls, people watching for a moment, to see what's going to happen, before deciding to respond.
But, jeeze............

I one time saw this person.......staggering towards the liquor store. He looked really drunk.
Others, closer, were sort of pointing and giggling........well, at first, it looked sort of fuckin funny.
But, soon, he got worse and hit the ground hard. I looked and no one responded, some laughed, others just walked away........I ran over, thinking his actions seemed weird.......held his fucking head up, and, after a ton of mumbling, he got out "diabetes"........fuck, he was having low blood sugar.........I yelled at one of those onlookers, to go in and get him a candy and coke....fucker asked me for the money, which I gave.

once he came around, he was quite lucid and "normal"......those asshats may well have let him fucking die, in a coma, right there..........

He felt the fucking symptoms coming on, but, had no candy and was trying his best to get to the fucking store, before he passed out.............

Fuck, thinking of you lying there.......fuck........somethin's in my eye now........fuck..........

(((Yggy))) Good on ya for being a stand-up man. I had to do the same thing last year, only the woman passed out due to her change of Heart meds. Her poor sister was trying to hold her up. I ran over to her when everyone else was just gawking, and we lowered her to the ground. As I looked around the people were just staring so I shouted out orders to people, ie call 911, get me cold wet towel, water etc. Even after that Only ONE person helped me and that was her sister!! Her sister ran and she got the water and towels ,I rested her head on my legs and he raised her legs. Those two ladies were just trying to enjoy the festival in the park, which had thousands of people around. And what saddened me was they were in their early 70's and no one would help...

Fuck...anyway AntiM, I'm a firm believer of Karma, what goes around, comes around! Just fucking get better will ya??

Is he very familiar with fucking CO poisoning, O2 depletion, and all that? Assuming it's a fuel fired, not electric, space heater.
so many folks die each year, using the wrong heater, or, not taking the right precautions.

Not at all, Ygg. My son went camping on Friday and borrowed my propane camp stove. Since it was cold and snowy, you can be sure I gave him the same warnings. He came to his senses (or the rain/sleet/snow brought him to his senses) and came home the next day.

It is cheap.. in august.

You can save a bunch using infrared heat, if you do it right.
