I never get tired of tilt-shift, (or whatever post processing you used to get the effect).
Awesome.

Uhh.. what was your train of thought on that reply? I'm curious.
..being as that it makes absolutely no sense..

Oh! It was totally born out of a mental goof on my part.
I thought your "IMHO" was directed at Trilo, saying it was the best video he'd seen yet. So I was joking about the derision when people say "THIS EMBODIES BURNINGMAN" or "Your thing isn't in the true spirit of Burning Man!" Then I realized that these were two entire threads that got mod-merged into one, when I saw your message had a different subject, and contained the video itself. It was far too late... I couldn't go back and hit delete, editing the post to be just a period, or a "me too" felt hollow... so I left it up as a testament to my ham-fisted response!

You say that like it's a bad thing!

Re: Timelapse-icus Maximus
It looks like some of the footage was filmed from the same vantage point as the other 10 or 11 (?) day time lapse filmed from the mountains. I like that one also (I wonder, is it the same group of videographers?)
Thanks trilo and js, and the creators of the video of course. Schweet!
I feel dense, lol. What's an HO scale?

It's a model railroading size. I think it's the 1 to 87 one.

Re: Timelapse-icus Maximus
Wikipedia wrote:HO scale's popularity lies somewhat in its middle-of-the-road status. It is large enough to accommodate a great deal of detail in finer models, more so than the smaller N and Z scales, and can also be easily handled by children without as much fear of swallowing small parts. Models are usually less expensive than the smaller scales because of more exacting manufacturing process in N and Z, and also less expensive than S, O and G scales because of the smaller amount of material; the larger audience and the resultant economy of scale also drives HO prices down. The size lends itself to elaborate track plans in a reasonable amount of room space, not as much as N but considerably more than S or 0. In short, HO scale provides the balance between the detail of larger scales and the lower space requirements of smaller scales.

Re: Timelapse-icus Maximus

Uh Nipple, thanks for the Wiki broadcast (why the exploding head? hahahaaaa) either it was done in HO scale, or my ignorance of HO scale has something to do with it, erg.
I'm going back to my finger painting now, droooool...

Now all we need is the inverse video: a video captured at a trillion frames per second, of the very instant the sun creep out over the horizon and floods the playa in direct sunlight.
