A sarcastic quote from a tv show my wife was watching last week - "The best costumes are the ones you have to explain".
A decade ago I was dressed as a dayglow pin-head space alien clown thingie (pretty much whatever I could grab in my then large drag closet) and a very boring White Chick (tm) asked in an extremely rude voice "what are you supposed to be?". I looked her up and down & said "Creative. What about you?"

I still wonder if her face froze like that.

Nice, I'll have to remember that line.

hahahaha i did that a few times ..... it used to drive me crazy, all the people who would show up without costumes, it seemed about 4-1 in street clothes .... i mean, how hard is it to find something funny to wear?

i just had my puppy spayed, and she's wearing one of those cone things on her head, so i'm thinking of wearing my cat things, adding a few stitches to my cat coat, and wearing a cone so we can be spayed together, bumping into everything with our cones.

I'm working the pedicab tonight, so I think it might have to go with the pimp costume.
