...just saying

Post by maryanimal » Sat Oct 29, 2011 6:49 pm

I know that people have busy lives and it is Saturday night, but I've notice that hardly anyone comes in much these days. This time last year this place was a bustling hub of excitement, anticipation, just plain fun.

What happened? ...just saying

I've notice seasonal quiet times on eplaya and I think this is it.

The burn and decomps are done and now the wait for tickets to go on sale.

It may have something to do with no theme yet. :?

There are several newbs.
Maybe you were in total super absorption mode and reading more posts than were posted in order to catch up.

I vote we go with Fishy's analysis. There is always reading to be done. And costumes to be planned and made. And crocheting. And beading. And painting. And then the realization sets in .. OMG I don't have enough time to do all I want to !!

Yup.

I meant it sarcastically -- meaning that even stolid old me constitutes a hub of excitement in this boring town.

Any of that make sense? Maybe I should stumble over to Da Bar with this Makers Mark I've been nibbling on.

Halloween is the busiest time ever for me... getting the house ready... getting costumes ready... parties.

Last night I was at the big Portland Halloween party "Howl"... Great time. Amazing costumes, LOTS of Burners!

Yes! We're making Pumpkin muffins, and having some folks over to watch dumb horror movies while we answer the door.

I'm learning how to hoop and also trying to understand how to make a throwie. My learning curve is so steep that I can't talk while doing them.
