Thanks Lydia. I'm doing the best I can. Thank Gawd we actually know each other (can you even imagine some of the people we correspond with joining us at B2B?). Anyway, of course you are all invited! We want everyone who can to be there. At the first one of these four years ago (and I'm happy to say I am the only e/3playan who has attended all of them!) none of us knew each other, and now look, we can almost tolerate one another! C'mon down people, this is Burning Man at it's finest: a temporary autonomous zone with like-minded nere-do-wells that know a good thing when we see it! Thursday, 6 p.m., Venus & 4:00; if you can't find us, check yourself into the rehab clinic...

I feel I've come to know you all in the past few weeks i've been trolling the e-playa. So it woulld be great to put faces to names. Having recently broke my ankle, I have resolved myself to spending more time in camp then I would like. But this sounds like its worth shuffling over for. So see y'all at the cocktail hour,
Thanks for hosting, Doc!Dr. Pyro wrote:Thursday, 6 p.m., Venus & 4:00
Went out this afternoon and stocked up on pretty much any beer they had that comes in cans. I'll set aside a few Guinnies, Boddies, Heinies & Coronas and bring 'em over iced down & ready to go.
This is going to be so much fun; can't wait to meet & greet some of the icons of the eplaya!
Ah, now, what to wear.......
"Yes, but is it art?" "No, Art is over there, on the couch."

Meet & Greet.
Just finished my latest batch of Le Fee Verte. Just sampled. Best yet. Will bring.
Oh Harriot- I will bring some Reindeer for you, as I remember promising last year.
In a very happy little state right now. I have some interesting drinkables to bring, for sure.

You might want to talk to people who have to live with mobility issues everyday for pointers. No reason to let experience go to waste. (And I'm still hobbling from my sprained ankle last month--bet you didn't know that Duck Feeding is a viscious contact sport. Look for it at teh 2008 Olympics.)

And the Ducks go Wild!!!!!and she flings the bread as she lands a perfect triple axle - double lutz combination!
(I'm just wondering what kind of ducks they will use in Beijing. Peking ducks? Mallards? And I sure hope that SARS doesn't result in the whole darn thing being cancelled. We've worked for YeARS to make this a respectable sport, equal to Beach Volleyball.)

....a scandal of unparalleled proportions. a pall hangs over these olympics, bob. Duck feeding has fallen prey to one of the Olympics' darkest sides. in a twist on previous doping schemes, competitors who drew early competition lots have doped the birds! Unable to entice the ducks to the bread, later competitors have suffered. it is thought that the drug - perhaps alcohol - has been incorporated into the bread itself. i've never seen anything like it.

Look those two ducks have just collided with each other. Luckily the emergency responce team is out in the pond collecting the casualties. What a tragedy for waterfowl everywhere. These injured, dosed ducks can expect months in rehab before they return to competition.
Or does this belong on the DUCK!!!!!!!1 thread?
