FUCK. FUCK the shit that life deals out in loads for some folks. My mother had a moment of clarity today about her condition. She looked right at me and was sad and afraid, and it just broke my heart. Fuck the people at work who are bored with my reasons for working partial days and want to know when it will be back to normal. It's only been two fucking weeks. Fuck dementia and Fuck cancer. Fuck heartless people too who would walk by somebody in pain on the street. Fuck the whole ball of wax, and give me the fucking strength to get up tomorrow and face it.

My mother is given to screaming night terrors, oddly though, with no profanity. If I was having the dreams she is having, I'd be swearing up a fucking storm. They sound bloody and make the hair on my neck stand up. That plus potty assistance makes for little sleep. So a good fucking night's sleep will do me a world of good.

my mother lived with me, in my fucking house, for 1.5 years after my step dad died.
she needed constant care, was totally uncooperative, manipulative, innapropriate, spiteful.........just to name a few. Fuck.
Take baby steps, to what you will and won't, can and can't, do. It's an emotional hell, to have to change a commitment, if things turn ooky........
just fuckin take care of you, really.
I paid a huge price, for what I did, from a deathbed promise made..........

I don't have many details yet.
But, at 88, this can be a tough injury.

She's my "ex-mother in law" but, we've remained close, and, she's been so much like a mom.......dang it.

My sympathy fucks to all. My mom and her dad both had demetia/alsheimers.

On my personal fuck#3, my dog got her bandages off yesterday, 4 more days on meds and we are done. She is doing very well now that her tumors are gone.

My fuck #4... went in to get a precheck on smog on my car, I was told I had a leak in pipes...not enough vapor to get a reading out of the tailpipe. Went to Midas, was told parts would be over $300, arriving on Thursday. Converter was fine, just tailpipe and resonator rusted out... 31 yewars over road salt and alkalye... ok ...maybe #500 total to keep it on the road. Not to bad for a 91 Geo Metro, still get over 50 mpg...

Fuck schoolday Halloweens, only a dozen preschoolers and their mamas yesterday... I ate a pound of Snickers and a pound of Reeses over the past 3 days...NO LEFTOVERS !

So far he has over 20 responses offering condolences. My first thought was "Why the fuck didn't you have your dog tied down so that wouldn't happen." Scott once told me about being at an accident scene where the driver had her small dog on her lap. I guess it was smooshed by something, steering column, airbag, and what was left was alive, but not for long. Which I guess means that Scott didn't have to put it out of its misery.

My fucking crown popped off last night, my appointment was this evening to get it glued back in. Dead tooth, but the gum and socket are throbbing. Doc offered painkillers and I accepted. Just enough for a couple days, this is fucking miserable. My extraction appointment isn't until January.
And poor Larry didn't get home, they turned him around after delivery with steel going to AZ. Poor baby.

Fuck. I have been under pressure at work to compromise my ethical standards regarding the collection of private information for non-patient-care purposes. Yesterday I found, on my desk, a big stack of patient information that I have no justifiable access to, with instructions to enter it into a data base. This crosses the line from ethically questionable to criminal activity, as far as I can tell.

I think I know what to do about this, but it really scares me. I have 2 kids in college and a mortgage to pay. And my Mom's Alzheimer's is getting worse so fast that our care plans for her are falling apart faster than we can make them. My boss has been really good so far about letting me take time off. But I won't be able to help my Mom or pay my bills if I am in jail.

Fuck.
