This is the document that I read every morning. And it guides me on what I do for Occupy every day. To me this is the agenda. How we get there is going to be interesting and with a learning curve along the way. But the best advice I've been given of late is to enjoy the ride. And when I followed that advice...well it's taken me places I never thought I could go. Anyway this ain't going to be about me, here's that Mission Statement:

We want an end to corporate money's influence in politics, whether through campaign donations, PACs, or other groups. Money is not speech.

We want truly effective campaign finance reform, so that corporations and other interests have no overwhelming advantage over the rest of us in any part of American politics.

We want far greater legal accountability for public officials and corporate executives, and we demand that, if found guilty of committing crimes while in office, they are made to pay for those crimes in full, like anyone else.

Occupy Las Vegas is over by McCarran, across the street from the Thomas & Mack Center.
We've had protests on the strip and on Fremont, the current focus is on the banks. Wells Fargo is coming up this Friday.
We're also working on an online "radio station" at KOLV.org that will offer Livestreaming and more...lots of things are starting to take off.

Since you skew the argument about "nothing" I'll make it more clear. Elites are not in a listening mood. Their motivation is control and their method of control is to get a handle on "something". Making the movement about "nothing" makes it more difficult for them. So let them be "mystified". The 99% get it (and what they get is that there is in fact a something) and there is no need for definition because to those of us who are a part of it, there's no need to narrow down the list of demands. Narrowing down the list to an "achievable" goal is the same as "divide and conquer" giving the demands of a few protesters special treatment while others are not. Elites would love to promote infighting against protesters in this way to destroy the movement. Just one of many tricks that we will have to be ready for.

The reason a frying pan has a handle is so that you can get a hold of it and have control of the contents.

Divide and conquer is one of the oldest and most powerful tools in the elite's bag of tricks. The Rev Jesse Jackson played into that one and gave the elites an even bigger handle to use as a divisor. At a time when the issue of race was rapidly disappearing, Jesse Jackson provided the vitriol to divide blacks and whites. So the elites made him a spokesman and extend one of the best manipulative handles they have to divide and conquer with. Race. At a time when it was starting to become very clear that we are all in the same boat, the elite gained a new larger handle on an old dieing issue. That is why, during every election, you hear the talk about the "black" vote. Divide and conquer.
