Part of the joy of being Canadian is that pictures of the Queen and her Nazi-sympathizer husband are present in every public gathering place. Or at least they were... I don't think you see them around as often nowadays.

She was quite a beauty in her day. I'm far from a fan, and I think the monarchy is a ridiculous institution, but I was impressed to learn that she served as a truck mechanic during WWII [EDIT: Kinda... for a few months...]. Hard to imagine a modern-day heiress doing that.
