Yeah, nothing much new, but I'd say resonably accurate for a mainstream article. Not seeing the elephant, but not just a single blind man's feel either.

I just sent the author an e-mail telling him it was well done. Over the years I have read so much crap written on the subject; this wasn't crap. Good to read about Lee Gilmore, whose survey can be found on the board somewhere.

Burning Man in the Sacramento Bee?!!?! The outrage!!! They're using BM to sell papers! I hope they called BMORG before they wrote the article...


I'll be sure to pick up a USA Today on the way to the playa. And a Chronicle. And an LA Times...

Actually the sad thing is that if the Burningman article wasn't in the paper, I wouldn't have bought it. I am a shameless corporate whore. :(
