Even if it's paler pink, it could be accented with flaming hot pink! :)

Or covered up with neon pink and orange duct tape...
Or maybe just painted on zebra stripes...

So what are you thankful for? I'm not talking about just things around the holidays, but year round?

I'm thankful for my family! I'm thankful for the friends I've met through burning man. I'm thankful for the snow on the ground, as it brings a peacefulness for me. I'm thankful for being able to bleach my socks and they actually turn out white and bright!

I too am thankful for my Eplaya friends. Thankful that I have had the immense pleasure of meeting them in person and finding that they are the same wonderful people that I met online.
I'm thankful for Burning Man. It has completed a part of me that knew it was incomplete but didn't know it.
I'm thankful for the Portland burner scene and how they've welcomed me with open arms.
I'm thankful for Sweetpea.

Minxy and Will invited me to the Portland Leather Alliance vendors fair today. I had a blast! I ended up buying a membership, $10, and buying a ticket to tonight's play party. I'm housesitting 40 miles from home so had nothing to wear. I stopped by Goodwill and in less that 20 minutes put together a pretty fucking hot outfit. Black hiphuggers, shirt, belt, and shoes. Gonna hafta raid Mish's dresser for socks.
I'm only planning on being a spectator tonight unless that gorgeous green eyed redheaded gal in the leather bustier and cute collar promises to be really gentle with me...
I'd never have even considered going to something like this just six months ago. Sweetpea explained it to me and dispelled many misconceptions I had about the scene. Hell, she encouraged me to check it out.
The people are so nice and quite normal, kind of like burners but whippier and chainier. Just like at the burn, when I told someone I was a newbie their eyes lit up and were very welcoming and said do what feels good and don't do anything that is outside my comfort zone.
You know me. I love meeting people, making new friends, and having new experiences. I'm pretty excited...
If you didn't pick up on it, the PLA is a Portland BDSM association that's dedicated to safe and adventurous ways to play.
I haven't told Sweetpea that I'm going but will tell her afterward. I don't think she'll have a problem with it. Maybe it's something that we can go out and do together...

My oh my, what an interesting party it was.
It gave me a whole new outlook on BDSM.
There were over 200 people at the play party. I saw things that I never even knew I wanted to see. Suspension, needlework, fisting, rubber clothing...

All the details are on the blog:

Beautifully written, Foxfur!

Your style exhibits the same care and excitement as the acts it describes.

He kept it hid And so did she.
They searched for blue Their whole life through,
Then passed right by- And never knew.”

Aww, thank you dear. I love to write and it gave me plenty to write about.
I called Sweetpea last night and told her all about it. She's excited for me and glad I "get it".
She feels it's something she can get out of the house more to do together in one degree or another.
I'm not going to jump in head first but they don't mind if I walk around in the wading pool for a while :)

It has a burny feel to it and there are a couple dozen burners in the group. Go figure, eh? :)
