Scallops aren't kosher. Sea critters have to have scales & fins to be kosher (like tuna).

You're right. Between Canon 1251 and Leviticus 11:10 both the clams and the bacon rolls are right out. We will have to hope that the tuna can hold up.

Good timing. I just went on my annual trip to Brighton Beach to get Russian food for the holidays. Cold smoked trout, pickled herring, these smallish smoked whole fish that are similar to mackerel but whose name doesn't exactly translate according to the sales woman. Also a ton of salmon roe.

Other stuff too, pickled fresh tomatoes, green borscht, turkish candy, salo, head cheese etc.... and this:

It's Ukrainian Honey pepper vodka. I wanted to try it, and it's awesome. Might pick up a case of 200ml bottles to gift in BRC.
