3000 "Christmas" tickets.
Re: 3000 "Christmas" tickets.
$240, $320, $390
Re: 3000 "Christmas" tickets.
Interesting. I don't know if i'm just too baked to realize why.. but what are the benefits of drawing the 240$ tier first? I see the benefit of drawing the 390$ first. I really don't care (I registered for the pre-sale, so I really don't care what tier I get, as long as I get a ticket,) I'm just curious.
Can you at least admit that nuclear explosions are awesome!?
Re: 3000 "Christmas" tickets.
Honestly, I barely get the tiers.
I think the way they are, they give people a chance to say how badly they want to go, and express it as a monetary figure.
Outside of that I'm holding with the people who are saying that it makes it more cacophonic.

"Manifest a ticket" doesn't makes sense. Please stop trying to sound smart people.
I can stop sounding smart at the drop of a hat. I have yet to be able to stop being a smartass, though.
If you did the $390 tickets first, it might motivate people to not register for that tier even if they could afford it, because they know they'll be able to get tickets later. The way it's built now, you don't penalize anyone for registering for a higher tier.remi wrote:Interesting. That's another one of those WAGs though.

She still surfaces and drops that copypasta every once in a while. Search the forum and you can find more of her brilliance.

You have not lived through "ticket begging season" yet. This will make more sense to you once you've survived that. Wait for it, the snark is phenomenal and wondrous to behold.remi wrote:"Manifest a ticket" doesn't makes sense. Please stop trying to sound smart people.

Has anyone tried registering twice 2 at a pop? PM is fine, if you're shy.

From what I understand you can register twice, they just look for duplicates and delete both entries.

Awesome! Too bad it's easy enough to ask a non burner friend to do it for you.tamarakay wrote:From what I understand you can register twice, they just look for duplicates and delete both entries.

Re: 3000 "Christmas" tickets.
I believe if they find a duplicate only one gets removed (if it looks weird a real live person looks at it, it's not all done by computer). A big reason for the two weeks between registration & draw is so the lists can be culled for known scalpers and for duplicate orders (probably other issues as well).tamarakay wrote:From what I understand you can register twice, they just look for duplicates and delete both entries.
They are aware that some people may try to game the system and are watching for it.

Efficient? Apples to oranges- it's a completely different system designed for a changed reality (demand > supply).Finnegan wrote:So, totally more efficient than the old system.

That's kinda sad, and you're such a good mod. We should send you socks for the holidays.
