quite. eplaya is one of the closest ways i can think of to match whits on many subject, some not even involved with burning man :::D keep the energy a-flowin huh? i dig on this kind of a site, has a main topic, yet a friendly vibe all over the place :::D. well for the most part. to me Eplaya is much more organized, and has more of a purpose compared to social networks like facebook, myspace and so on. it actually has more of a point to it than ":::D haaaay lets go on the internet and talk to my friend who lives down the street from me!" XXD in most cases lol (that doesnt count people who use it to talk to people they never see), but to me social networking has had absolutely no point up until now XXD glad i joined eplaya.

Mood is better....amazing what a good rest will do (although i don't think it was a good idea to eat all that coconut ice cream and kitkat bars right before. how is it that i seem to need to eat my chocobars in pairs? ....i guess i do get affected by advertising....hell i saved 25 cents buying two. lol never mind the extra dollar i spent to save the 25 cents :? )

hahaha...sigh

Welcome back, Hibby.

Nessaz, you ate chocolate?

Actually that doesn't seem like very much of a sin.

He has 6 eyes (It's a SHPONGLE thing... which I am unfamiliar with). So they're 6 eyed smilies. :::D and D:::

The XXD and DXX indicate that the eyes are squinted shut in laughter or horror.

I think a little sea salt dark chocolate might help cure him of that. (strangely, my fave too. I say "strangely" because normally I can't stand dark chocolate! Great tho, isn't it MA??)

Well, I'm feeling a bit low tonight. I'm trying to be as upbeat as I can. I go through this sometimes in the evenings. I like coming in here because my peeps are here.

I miss my mom terribly. I want to see her soon before she forgets who I am. I'll hopefull be going sometime before Christmas.

Well that does it. You are doing it wrong. I'm miserable in the morning, but better late in the day. I'm sure I am the one who has it right. So there. :P

Lucky you, atleast you will see your mom come christmas. I live far, far away from my family and haven't seen them in over a year.Christmas isn't too far away. Start packing a bag tonight while I go find a video to cheer you up. What would you like?

Remember what Clarence said, Mary Ann, "No one is a failure who has friends." And you have a ton of them/us here.

Would it be dramatically inappropriate of me to mention...?.... My mother also lives on the other side of the planet and I have not seen her since 1998. And I'm trying to keep it that way.

I guess that's a "guy thing". Once we are weaned, we are out of the nest for good. I'm reading "The Naked Ape" right now -- about the evolution of humans. I bet there is something about this somewhere in the book. Some instinct that evolved to prevent mating with one's mother.

And if you don't care for the video Wh..sh finds you, check your record collection for some Fleetwood Mac -- always cheers me up. I have "Never going back again" (on Rumours) running on non-stop repeat this evening. Love that picking.

I will happily eat any dark chocolate any of you don't want.

My "tough times" song is Steely Dan's Any Major Dude. Any minor world that breaks apart falls together again. Not a cheer up song, a hang in there song. Because there were days when I didn't want to be cheered up, I just wanted to make it through.

Another good song thats good for when you got the blues, is broken wings by atomic rooster. very bluesy, but very symphonic at the same time, really loud at first, then really calm and soothing. the words are really meaningful too, I'd like to say its good for anyone in a funk. (nipple and his damn ball pit XXD)

Look up the video for Cake, Short Skirt, Long Jacket. Guaranteed to get you up off your butt and wiggling.

1--I bet it has as much to do with personality and history of the mother and son involved.
2--That piece of trash! It's 40 years old, and there are many more "evolutionary psychology" books available now. Many of them also on the cheesy end. I can recommend Mother Nature, by Sarah Blaffer Hrdy; The Prehistory of Sex (Timothy something-begining-with-t); Sex at Dawn; and if you want a refutation of some particular bits of the Morris, The Decent of Woman does a good job as a critique, although it's cheese otherwise.

Even the recent dockos, like nova, cover a lot of new info before it makes it into books.

A lot of new, exciting information.
Some of the Rose shows discuss these things too.

The ongoing series on research into the mind is amazing and right up to date.
