I really have to say that I'm a bit jealous of you guys over there with such a public embrace of installation and light art. Bliss on Treasure Island, now this. Wow.

Hey.. at least we have our birdhouse canal project in the middle of nowhere, St Johns River, FL!

You forget the raygun gothic rocket ship on the waterfront and other randomly cool chunks of art. That and we're spoiled with the turnout of big playa art and art cars at local events and shindigs.

the artist leo villareal who's working on this is a really cool dude too. got to meet him when he did an exhibit at my work.
