And it is in the spirit of Savannah's quote that I'm starting this thread. It's not about gloating or making anybody feel bad if they weren't selected in a particular round, but about glee and elation, and even a little relief after all the fear, uncertainty, and doubt that the idea of a random drawing made some people feel.

Please post in here only if you've gotten an email telling you that you've been awarded tickets (or to congratulate someone who's gotten tix). If you want to post your excitement about registering, use this thread.

As previously mentioned, I am having problems typing from both my sheer excitement and my consciousness that this very thread could feel like gloating, but...


I GOT MY FIRST TICKET (of 2 which I need) !!!! Totally an interesting experience in getting my ticket this year compared to previous years.

Concentrating, burning as bright as I allow myself as I implement that all-too-common need to be resourceful.....
Trying to practice a bit of surrender to chance, witholding judgement about these circumstances so I can evoke more positive energy towards...
The quest for my journey's resources, starting with the part of the passage portion of everything.....

I even had to go check my Credit Card online to see if they were really selling me 2 tickets, not just screwing with my head again. No Shit! It says it right there: Burning Man...times two. Happy Happy Joy Joy. No Shit! No Shit! I won, I won! Really cosmic/weird sorta thing, though. Just 2 hours ago, (2 hours ago!) I made my appointment for next Tuesday at 5 PM in Richmond, Va. to get my first ever tattoo. First ever. Me, a person that travelled the world extensively for 40 years in all sorts of "states". Exhibiting risky, death defying behaviour, oceans, bikes, women, boats, planes...you get the picture. I never got a tattoo, ever. Well, what do you think the tattoo is going to be? The Burning Man! That is how important BM is to me. Damn, I really am going home again. I hope to see everyone of you there, I want to show you my BM tat. No Shit!
