JK and cowboy .... do you have any idea how many facts are out there? how very large the world is? how many different ways there are to look at things? this isn't a question of facts vs. non-facts, it's a question of philosophy. and i don't care that you disagree with me. my biggest problem is with the polarization, anger, and lack of discussion among people who are interested in politics. little squabbles about facts are *ridiculous*.

my influences are all over the place. the most educated and successful people i know are very conservative. don't throw your little websites at me and expect me to change.

I DO NOT WATCH FOX NEWS. jeez .... i use a TV antenna, and fox news is on cable .... and i rarely watch the idiot box anyhow. how many times have i said this? i decided long ago that broadcast news of any sort was ridiculous, focusing on controversy more than anything else. the dumbing down of america. and i will NEVER expect journalists to be any less biased than anyone else. people are biased .... if you think otherwise, you are a fool.

Qian Yunhui from the Zhejiang province in eastern China was one of such political activists. He fought on behalf of oppressed villagers for whom he was the only sign of hope. Then one day he received a phone call asking him to attend a meeting in which rights of the villagers would be discussed. Qian Yunhui left to attend that meeting only to be discovered an hour later crushed under a wheel of a large truck owned by Yueqing Electric Power Plant.

Qian Yunhui had been in jail three times for his ongoing demands to compensate villagers for their seized lands. Eye witnesses who claim they were there when the accident took place also ended up in jail. According to their statements, 4 uniformed man struck Qian Yunhui and held him down so truck driver could run over him. The government later released a statement that death of Qian Yunhui was a result of normal traffic accident, claiming that he was struck by the truck trying to cross the road."

Speaking for myself, the answer is that I don't. There are many other sources for real conservative/Republican news and view points. Unfortunately, it seems that most conservatives/Republicans don't seem to realize this.
