The "nuts" comment is based on the Tarpley interview. Check it out. in 2006 Webster was predicting the collapse of the housing bubble and recession. Webster can be weird but on the economy he's usually right on. Paul wants to gut Departments of Education, Energy, Housing and Urban Development, Commerce and Interior...Interior? Timber and Mining companies feast at the hog trough bros...... All the republican candidates are looney to some degree or other. The president is a smooth talkin son of bitch liar and slave, that's right, slave to Wall St.

and, although any candidate "wants" to do "anything", it seems rarely does what they promise, happen.

I can see a dilemma, though, with your "dept. of interior" thoughts.
We do need raw materials, to make things.
And, the higher the cost of retrieving them, the higher the end product cost.
Of course, things should be done, to minimize damage/danger short and long term.
But, if you make mining and logging, too hard or expensive, it will hugely impact, what we do make, here.
It's gotta be balanced. IMHO.
