Burning Bibbulmun
Ez Burners!
Introducing to you: Bibbulmun, a radical new arrival due to join the BRC community in 2012.
Hailing from Western Australia I explore the planet to find and interact with like minded individuals who agree that 'normality' is bunk.
My initial journey to BRC will be a solo adventure with plans to camp as an open and free individual with an agenda to explore, participate and shake things up at Burning Man 2012.
This is also somewhat of a scouting mission to identify how my forthcoming plan to introduce a new theme camp in future years will contribute to the dynamic of the community of Black Rock in the most effective way and to learn from those who have been involved in the inception and operation of theme camps, particularly from an international base.
I look forward to the journey and my anticipation to join all of you positively amazing Burners next year is ever rising.
luv luv

Bibbulmun, Welcome to eplaya!
That is one heck of a journey to get to BRC!
Make sure you have your ticket first, especially with this lottery system, then work on the flight/transportation/accommodations.
Other wise have a blast!

That's the right approach (if there is such a thing!). First burn: Find out what the fuck is going on and determine if your ideas would work there or if you need to customize it.

Hi Bibbulmun!
Like Illy Dilly said--event ticket first. Then meet some fellow Australian burners, to learn from or travel with.

Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Hi there Bibbulmun!
I always admire folks who travel great distances to get to the burn. I went solo my first year, and it does offer total freedom to explore and get a sense of what works. Actually, there are about 50,000 ways to burn each year, have a blast with yours!
( Illy, you did lock the secret trap door entrance before you left, didn't you?! )

He'll be in a Hello Kitty costume looking for the food court wondering where to buy bottled water.

Those are pretty valuable secrets we keep in there!
Last thing we need is all sorts of Virgins showing up prepared, safe, and hydrated. Then how the hell would we know who they are?

Unless they are Stealth Burgins. You look at a great camp next to you, burners with their shit together, and folks making art, and ask how many years they're been attending. Turns out to be their first year.

But they still can't hide the 'wide eyed amazement'
They might be prepared, set up, safe, and un-cover, but that "wow, did you see that" can't be hidden.
