Seriously she's good, Bigdane. Doc sent out the first BDV newsletter of the year and we have been buzzing about that. Very Exciting!!! Big Plans!!! Best Year EVER for the Barbiebarians!!! The gravitational pull of BDC will skew the whole city 8) as lovely women gather outside Doc's RV...

We have an oven, we could have a cornbread cookoff! I make mine with cheese, bacon, and green chiles. Given the chance, I put green chiles in almost everything.

We do have our Village Pancake Pork-out Saturday morning, when this year we fed something like 150 Barbiebarians and their friends. Mimosas, bacon, Bloody Marys, bacon, pancakes, bacon, sausage, and oh, did I mention bacon? That's a pretty big deal. I know Graidawg was talking about some kind of bacon-cookoff; that is European bacon which sucks vs. good old 'Merican bacon. I think Mel might have said something about Australian bacon, but I could be mistaken. So why not have our chili cookoff (which will be held again Monday evening) and couple that with the bacon cookoff? Or would a Tuesday morning breakfast bacon contest be more appropriate? Our Village being a do-versity after all, I leave it in your ladies' capable hands.

Tuesday pancakes work for me! We can contribute hot from the oven sweet rolls. Maybe even bacon topped cinnamon rolls if I start working on a recipe I can adapt to the playa.

If I am not part of BDC do I have to wrangle an invite to show up with a jar or two of Bacon Jam? Or is crashing a viable option.

I also have a recipe for Maple Buttermilk Bacon Cookies that might be an option if I need to up the ante..mmmm <<<not to be confused with AntiM 8)

...and I already plan on bringing fudge (peanut butter with hazelnut or dark choc raspberry or even both) to the M&G, btw...
