And if you want your nails done for BM, we can definitely negotiate; I'm doing glow in the dark acrylics for myself and most likely Tattoogoddess since she and I will be in BDC body painting and assisting in the Spa....

Ignore the haters - this looks potentially epic. A piece of unsolicited advice though: It's going to be a lot harder to set this up on the playa than you anticipate. Watching Osiris this year was a bit painful - they missed at least their first two nights of scheduled lineups (possibly first three nights?) due to the difficulty of assembling their structure. Remember that for your guests, the most important part of your camp is the sound and light system. As long as you're blasting killer music, nobody is going to care much whether the coliseum is up around the dance floor or not. Look at Opulent - they don't bother with giant structures and they're packed every night.

Yea, what the Goddess said... It looks a bit exclusionary and exclusive to me...

I was part of a medium sound camp in 2011 and it was hard going, getting much sleep... but we managed it - I don't envy anyone who is parked at the back of that thing!!

I think you might find that in the desert, your build time might be a little more than 12 hours, unless you have about 20 professional set builders on site. My bloke is one, and he helped one of the medium sound camps sort out their complicated set build by wednesday... it was just onforseen that the design was v complicated to build when half those involved had never built a set before....

Get professionals..... it seems that from your plans, you probably have a tonne of cash to throw at it.....

My only comment is wrt the main structure -- that you do serious modeling or a full scale dry run first. Is it really 40 ft tall? Rigged the way it's shown in the drawings, it looks destined to take a huge twist and collapse.

OTOH we haven't had a Sugarland-style structural failure in a few years, and it might be entertaining when it gets to the youtube.
