...while this could be rather obvious...

the hot soappy high pressure water from the self service car wash works real good on:

- bike parts, cleans derailleurs and chains (WD-40 them afterwards)
- tarps, tents, etc.
- even vehicles! (duh)

rinse and repeat as necessary -- this can save that sobering moment when opening up the gear to a playa cloud of dust at the next outing
