Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Welcome.
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Hi Mike!
I notice your sig line expresses a possible concern about finding a camp that likes RVs. Don't worry too much about that. While there are scattered folks who are a little too hyper about their tent or RV being "the one true way" to burn, the event is probably 50/50 or 60/40 in terms of living structures, and they often co-exist quite well (RVs and trailers make great windblocks for tents). If you don't run your generator all night and keep folks awake, you should be fine in most camps, unless a camp or village specifically has a mission to be tent-only . . . which they would announce or lead with, I assure you.
Secondly, being with a theme camp is not necessary unless you're into it.
* Some RV users invite neighbors in for a cold drink, or a few minutes of cool air. This is a great way to build rapport with the neighbors, but not obligatory.

Hey Mike, welcome to eplaya! This is my first well as well and there's several other birgins on here.
Make certain that you read the Survival Guide at: http://www.burningman.com/preparation/event_survival/. It has a lot of useful information. Hopefully between the Survival Guide and this site we'll all be as ready for it as we can be. ...at the very least we won't be a bunch of sparkle ponies.
