first timer from winningpeg, canada
That is to say .... this will be my first time. I hope nobody goes easy on me. :p
My name is Chris. I'm from Canada. Today's wind chill of -40 Celsius/-40 F (-27c without) makes me anticipate BM all the more.
I've been reading up on Burning Man for years, watching youtube videos, and looking at all my friend's BM pics and being all super jelly about it. After delays each year that prevent me from going, this year will be the year. It's gonna be ultra-rad.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

That's still 80 degrees warmer than what he's experiencing today. Even the coldest temps at BRC would be a veritable heat wave by comparison.lemur wrote:HEY! my name is lemur!

haha, very true.
I know enough to pack a winter jacket. Some fests in Canada at higher altitudes can get pretty damn cold at night in the summer too.

Welcome to eplaya!
You're going to love the weather!
Right now, it sounds like it will be nice and warm, but when your there you'll think "Dog Damn its Hot!"
But after a day or two, you'll realize that in some weird way the misery of the heat brings people closer together.

Hi Chris! Welcome to the board. If you know to bring a warm jacket, you're already miles ahead of many a virgin.
