Larry was tidying the basement when he ran across a box of booze we had set aside for Burning Man, for gifting and donating primarily to the Golden Cafe. We'd forgotten about it completely.

Now, I see here another bit of evidence explaining why I should not drink anymore. I cannot fathom how the HELL somebody can have in their home an overlooked, forgotten, box of booze. LMAO

I drink very little at home anymore. Larry prefers beer. We have a spectacular variety of booze, because we buy interesting bottles and labels. Newest acquisition is Five Wives Vodka, made right here in Ogden.

Well I'm excited. Well a little bit.
For the non drinkers amongst us I'd like to turn our attention to tasty mock tails - and what we can do in the absence of cordial in your strange country.

I was thinking of a dry ginger and lime concoction - perhaps with some mint. But how can we keep the mint fresh?

Hmm. Suggestions?

Bigdane, those mint ice cubes you mentioned. We will have access to liquid nitrogen (doesn't everybody on the playa?) which freezes grapes and Otter Pops solid in about 10 seconds. Would that work do you think?

I just wanted to come on here and officially say the only time I've ever gotten so hammered at Burning Man that I don't really know wtf happened, was at the meet and greet last year. I recall somebody trying to take my megaphone, which I responded to with cruel laughter. But after that the batteries died, I woke up, and it was Friday. Good job Eplayans. I'm glad each of you brought a bottle I thought I'd try.
