If he's on here please contact me as I want to work on a project here in the UK for Glastonbury and I need to know how on earth he did it. Did he use the SparkFun LilyPad wearable LEDs? Please someone get him to contact me ;) Thankeeeeeeeee

I'm doing a pretty major clothing LED project, and it looks to me like he just stuck blue LEDs straight through the fabric and wired them up with a resistor for each LED. I'd imagine that he's wearing a 12v battery pack in a fanny pack type deal. You can get the LEDs and resistors cheap on Ebay.

Forget EL wire and glo sticks.. LED is the way :)

Cant tell if its blurred, but looks like he used a little ElWire around the eyes and mouth.

This guy did something mighty similar, but his get-up lacks the EL wire and the LEDs on the head so maybe it's not your man...:

Our neighbor, Dusty Dave, did something similar, used one of those white hazmat suits with strings of LED lights just poked through the fabric. His were multi-colored.

I don't know him, but I did speak to him at the burn. He said EACH of these was powered by a watch battery. Ouch.

I saw this guy out there two or three years ago. He was using these little body lights, which are basically a little tube with an LED on one end, a coin cell inside and a rare earth magnet on the other so you can attach it to clothing or other things. He bought a boatload of them and simply attached them. Must be hell to turn them on and off.
