Registration for the main sale has ended. Next, the database will be de-duped and then scrubbed for known scammers and scalpers. That's a process that could take hours, or it could take days. Once finished, the drawing will begin.

Sorry to have caused any confusion or been a bit of a tease, but there was a need to have a thread URL to refer people to. I locked it and put the embiggened message at the start to let people know it had not yet started. The box office will let me know just as they're about to start the drawing so I can get the thread opened up, if/when they give me additional information that I can share I'll pass it along.

Just curious, what will the "Awarded Tickets" thread do, once it's opened for posts? Is it a list of names of people who have been awarded tickets, or something? Looks to me like it's meant for posting "glee and elation". I guess each glee and elation will mirror someone's sorrow and despair, unfortunately. I guess there won't be a thread for those people.

There will probably be a thread for denied tickets, actually. One thread for each. People need to be able to celebrate freely, and be sad or frustrated as well.
