Perspective

There was a house fire in my little town last night. A 14 and a 15 year old died, their father suffered severe burns trying to save them.

Makes all the nonsense on this board seem not so important.

Wow. That is just down I10 from us. My husband is a firefighter here in SA, and this is the stuff I have nightmares about.

Sometimes we really do get caught up in our "first world problems" and lose perspective. We may not win tickets, and may never make it to BM again, but we are healthy, happy, alive, and together. Really, can ask for anymore than that?
