Well I'm gonna try and get some sleep, I got a long day of waiting for tickets tomorrow. So I need my rest...

Really, I always wonder why people who live in such worlds of make-believe where systems can be perfectly foolproofed even deign to go to Burning Man.

Not sure what that sentence was meant to say, but if you meant "you're crazy to want this to be perfect", I didn't say I wanted it to be perfect.

It means you're living in a make-believe world when you can even assume systems can be perfect, and that failure is a direct implication of a system that cannot be perfect.

Here's my point, nice and clearly stated:

THE NEW SYSTEM DIDN'T WORK AS PROMISED

The system was never promised to deliver perfect scalp-proofing, nor even imply it. Your quotation of the FAQ above is direct proof.

The system was designed only to mitigate the effects of scalping (see "help prevent" in the FAQ quotation above).

Your point is therefore fundamentally flawed, and unarguably false.

Little update from China at 6:35 PM...still no news but congrats to everybody so far. I've seen a lot of friends and campmates get confirmations already so my mind is at ease! So at 2am (UK time) 'Black Rocky City' attempted to take a authorisation payment from my card...but because some mean person cloned it a day earlier, the card was blocked and my credit card company blocked the attempt....Words cannot describe how sad I feel right now

No matter what you can't keep up the positive vibe today because any second the lottery will end today, no one knows when it is over either so I am just spent/tired can't refresh websites anymore. This is just been a long process not just the lottery but I have been wrapped up in this trip,planning so much that it consumed me and now I am up at 7am staring at a screen

When I got up this morning I was hoping for a email from my partner saying we had tickets, but no, so now I have to wait another 2 hours for her to wake up to see if two arrived after she went to bed, I have a bad feeling we will have to wait for STEP or March.

I think I woke up about 6 times in the middle of the night and checked my phone for an email.

here in Israel no tickets yet, though my friend got his about an hour ago for 240$....

Not sure why everyone is going by their own timezone. Keep an eye on their local business timezone which I believe is PST.
Right now its 4:45am in the morning there.

Even though this is a computerized process, I doubt they will issue tickets outside of business hours as if anything went wrong you would need to have people working to resolve it.
Looks like tickets are being drawn from around 9am - 5pm, you have 4 hours before drawing will potentially start again.

So dont get so down about not receiving anything since the drawing stopped yesterday.

Also, remember that until you receive an email saying you did NOT get a ticket. You are still in the running for a ticket.
